About Me

A quick snapshot of who I am right now.

Photo of me

Hi, I’m Shaman Garcia, an environmental science student with a love for forests, maps, and building things that people actually use. I split my time between fieldwork, coding, and helping students get excited about the natural world.

Right now, I’m especially interested in how geospatial tools and programming can support restoration and conservation decisions. Outside of school, you’ll usually find me rock climbing, biking, working on robotics projects with students, or in a garage covered in sawdust.

This page is a small snapshot of what life looks like for me at the moment—people, places, and little projects that keep me moving.
